Ontario Trillium Foundation Grant
The club has received a capital grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF). The club is growing and the grant will enable the club to acquire an additional mat and several sets of club bowls. This will allow us to increase our membership and expand our reach to those who would like to try the sport of bowls but do not have the resources to acquire their own bowls.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is an agency of the Government of Ontario, and one of Canada’s leading granting foundations. OTF cares about healthy and vibrant communities and creates significant opportunities for positive community change.
Club Status
The Club started the 2023/24 season on October 11. We will continue to play each Monday and Wednesday (except Holidays) until April 30 2024 (if its still cold outside and outdoor clubs are not active)

Short Mat Bowls in the evening?
Currently Short Mat Bowling is held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. see below). If you are interested in bowling in the evenings please email [email protected] and let me know what day(s) of the week you would be interested in. If there is sufficient interest, we will look into adding an evening session.
REGULAR BOWLING is every Monday and Wednesday from 12:30 to 3 in the afternoon at the Johnny Leroux Aerena located off Stittsville Main Street at 10 Warner-Colpitts Lane. (one block south of the Beverly street lights.)
Bowling may be cancelled due to weather or other events held by the city. Cancellations will be posted here and on the District 16 website (asap).
Bowlers should bring their own lawn bowling bowls if they own any. New Bowlers and those who do not own bowls may use our Club bowls. However a limited number of club bowls are available for new members and those who do not own their own bowls.
The cost to bowl is currently $2.00 per session but new bowlers are welcome to come and try the sport for free twice. On the third session bowlers must be or must become members of the Ontario Lawn Bowling Association.
